Do I need to book an appointment to try on dresses?
Yes, we recommend you book in at all times when visiting our boutique to avoid any disappointment if we can’t see you. Choosing to operate on an appointment basis allows all of our brides and bridesmaid parties a private, relaxed and uninterrupted experience.
When should I begin my search for my Wedding Dress?
We recommend you start looking for your gown as soon as possible. We usually recommend 12 months prior to your wedding date. This ensures you are trying gowns that will be current for your wedding date and will allow you plenty of time to make such an important decision and not forgetting extra time needed for alterations.
When should I start looking for bridesmaids dresses?
When you have your dress sorted, you can then begin to build your wedding around your dress. We recommend that you and your bridesmaids begin your search for your bridesmaids dresses approx 6-8 months prior to the wedding date.

What are the prices of your Wedding Dresses?
Our gowns start from £800 and go up to £3000. We understand that some of you may be on a tight budget or short time scale, which is why we do have a reduced sample rail where you can find one of our designer samples at a fraction of their full price.

Our Bridesmaids collection usually ranges from £150 up to £300.

What sizes are your sample Dresses?
Our Bridal Sample collection typically ranges from a UK size 12 up to a UK size 16. We do have a very limited selection of other sizes but please enquire for further information. Our Bridesmaids sample collection has a range of sizes, colour and fabrics to view/try on.
How long will my first appointment take?
You will be accompanied by one of our experienced bridal stylists where you will be given a full 2 hours to try on our collection.
Do I need to bring anything with me to my first appointment?
When coming to try on our dresses we would advise you to wear nude strapless underwear if possible. We do provide shoes for your appointment but if you have a favourite pair at home you feel more comfortable in, please feel free to bring them.

On your first fitting when your dress arrives please bring with you your underwear & shoes you intend to wear on your Wedding day. This applies to both brides and bridesmaids.

How many guests can I bring with me for my appointment?
Our boutique is beautifully quaint and we allow each bride or bridesmaids party the full use of our fitting suites ensuring you have a completely private experience. Our fitting suites can fit up to 4 guests comfortably. We also feel that this small number of guests reduces too many opinions and allows you to solely think what you would like.
Can I wear fake tan and make-up for my appointment?
We understand that you want to feel beautiful when finding your wedding dress. However, we respectfully ask you not to wear any fake tan and keep all make-up minimal as it transfers onto our gowns and does not come out!
Can I bring my children with me to my appointments?
We love children but also love to ensure our brides are relaxed and focused on themselves and not worrying about anyone else but themselves so we do ask you, where possible, to refrain from bringing children.
How do I pay for my wedding dress?
A 50% deposit is required on all dresses and accessories you wish to order with us. Final payment will be required within two weeks of the items arriving in store. Please bring with you your original copy of your invoice at your first fitting appointment.
How long will my wedding dress take to come in?
Once your gown or bridesmaids dresses have been ordered you can start to build your wedding plans around it. We require 6-8 months to process, order and allow your seamstress to complete your alterations. If your timescale is a little tighter, please don’t panic as we do have Rush options available but one of our team will be happy to discuss this with you should you require this service.
Will my Dress fit perfectly?
All our gowns are measured to the nearest standard size and your stylist will discuss your measurements with you at your first appointment. Unless you are that very lucky one where your dress fits like a glove then nearly all of our gowns will require some alteration as none of them are made to your exact measurements.
What do I do if my dress needs Altering?
We are very fortunate to work with a fantastic team of independent seamstresses who are based in their own local studios. We will carry out your first fitting appointment in our boutique, where you will try ‘Your Dress’ on for the first time.

Should you require any alterations then one of our team will be happy to book you in with your chosen independent Seamstress at their local studio. Your Seamstress will want to see you anywhere from 12 – 8 weeks prior to your wedding date. This will give you the chance to discuss your requirements and allow your seamstress to give you an idea of time-scale and cost to complete your alterations.

Your alterations are a separate charge and will be payable direct to your seamstress. You are under no obligation to use our recommended seamstress service and are free to have your gown altered elsewhere.

How much will Alterations cost?
This really comes down to ‘How long is a piece of string?’ If your dress requires some alteration then at your first meeting with your seamstress you will be able to discuss time-scale and cost with them personally. We always recommend you include alteration costs within your budget just in case your dress requires alteration.
I intend to lose weight before my wedding, how will this affect my alterations?
Ideally, we would recommend that you’ve reached your target weight by the time you have your first meeting with your seamstress.

Please note, if you change shape once your alteration process has begun you may be charged again should your gown require further alteration.

When will I collect my gown?
If you require alterations, then you will collect your gown prior to you first meeting with your seamstress. If you don’t require any alterations, then we advise you collect your gown two weeks prior to your wedding date. This ensures you have plenty of time to check your gown over and leave yourself time to complete those last minute wedding arrangements.
